The Wellness Lab (Formerly Salako Fitness) was created in 2016, by CEO and Owner Dr. Akanni. Growing up the only male in his immediate family he grew a fond love and appreciation for the battles that women face. Being raised by highly driven women he saw the health issues that arose from neglecting your health while chasing a dream and managing a demanding lifestyle.
He's watched his family members battle high blood pressure, obesity, and chronic pains due to a lifestyle that did not place health and wellness at the forefront. His goal is to prevent and/or change this for every woman that he can touch through The Wellness Lab.
